Spanning 15,000 square meters, the hangar will be fully equipped to offer EASA Part 145-approved maintenance services, including specialized cabin upgrades and tailored refurbishment solutions for commercial aircraft. Scheduled for completion by mid-2025, the facility will significantly enhance ATS Technic’s service capacity, enabling it to accommodate multiple narrow-body aircraft simultaneously to meet the regions growing demand for high-quality MRO solutions.

Sustainability and Innovation in Design

The DXB hangar is designed with a focus on environmental sustainability, incorporating innovative features aligned with LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) certification standards. As the first aluminum-based hangar in the UAE, the project will reduce construction-related carbon emissions by up to 60% compared to traditional steel structures.

Key sustainability features include:

LEED Building Standards:

Meeting global benchmarks for energy efficiency and sustainable building design.

Energy Efficiency:

Modern insulation and ventilation systems to reduce energy consumption and lower the carbon footprint of daily operations.

Low-Carbon Materials:

The use of recycled and low-carbon aluminum in construction minimizes long-term environmental costs.

A Key Milestone in Regional MRO Development

“The launch of this project is a pivotal milestone for ATS Technic, reinforcing our commitment to providing world-class, sustainable MRO services,” said Mahdi Altahaineh, CEO of ATS Technic. “The facility will significantly expand local MRO capacity and position the company as a key player in the UAE’s growth as an international aviation hub.” Set to open in 2025 with the unique building number AC-MRO-1, the DWC hangar reflects ATS Technic’s commitment to sustainability and its role in supporting Dubai’s vision of becoming a global leader in green aviation infrastructure.
