ATS takes off into 2025 with new brand and flurry of deals in Q1

The first quarter of a new phase in the life of Aerospace Technical Services (ATS) and related companies brought a new brand and a flurry of dealmaking that further strengthen the group’s market reach and supply chain.

The expansion in Q1 2025 coincides with the growing importance of aviation and equipment supply in the Middle East region.

ATS Group includes ATS Aviation, a leader in aircraft components, maintenance, and engine solutions; ATS Technic, specialized in aircraft maintenance, repair, and overhaul (MRO), with European Union Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) certification; and ATS Medical, founded in 2020 to address the medical supply crisis during the COVID pandemic and expanding as a trusted provider of high-quality medical supplies and equipment.

Known as Aerospace Technical Services since its founding in 2003, ATS began the year by updating its name and look. The new brand identity and website reinforced the group’s commitment to compliance, transparency, and operational excellence amid continued growth. What did not change was the group’s attention to quality, global trust and robust supply chain built up since the firm’s founding.

“Our most important asset across all divisions is our reputation, which comes from our ability to meet the exacting needs of our clients dependably and consistently,” said Mahdi Al-Tahaineh, founder of ATS. “We are taking this asset forward as we continue our growth and take new directions.”

ATS Technic announced a cluster of deals that were closed during its participation in the 2025 MRO Middle East in Dubai, the largest event in the region for MRO stakeholders. The event showcased the growth in the Middle East MRO business.

The Middle East aircraft MRO market is worth more than $10 billion in 2025 and is expected to grow to $12.86 billion by 2030, according to a recent report. The region’s importance as both a destination and as a travel hub connecting Asia to the West is being bolstered by a $35 billion new airport, which will be the largest passenger terminal in the world.

Additionally, ATS Aviation announced an exclusive Middle East distribution agreement with Aviation Component Solutions Inc. (ACS), a major supplier of original equipment manufacturer (OEM) alternative parts. This agreement enhances services available to ATS Aviation’s regional customers and broadens ACS’s footprint in the Middle East.

“This collaboration strengthens our position as the region’s leading provider of aircraft parts and components, aligning with our mission to provide reliable, cost-effective, and innovative solutions that keep our customers’ fleets running smoothly,” said Al-Tahaineh.

In a move to boost industry education, ATS Group signed an MOU with the University of Sharjah to enhance the university’s Master’s Program in Air and Space Law through specialized training sessions, workshops, direct mentorship, and research collaborations. This partnership will advance legal and technical education training in the aviation field in alignment with ATS Group’s commitment to corporate social responsibility.

“This partnership underscores our commitment to nurturing the next generation of aviation professionals,” said Al-Tahaineh.
