Anti-Money Laundering (AML) Policy
Aerospace Technical Services (ATS) is fully committed to upholding the highest standards of integrity and compliance in preventing money laundering and countering terrorist financing across all its business activities. Our anti-money laundering (AML) policy is built on a risk-based approach that guides our operations and ensures we maintain the strictest adherence to legal and regulatory requirements in all jurisdictions where we operate.Â
Key Elements of Our AML Policy:
1. Risk-Based Customer Due Diligence
ATS classifies all customers based on potential risk factors, including the nature of the business relationship and the source of funds. For higher-risk customers, we implement enhanced due diligence measures such as senior management approval, thorough scrutiny of transactions, and ongoing monitoring.
2. Internal Controls and Record Keeping
We have established rigorous internal controls and record-keeping practices to ensure compliance with AML laws. This includes the retention of detailed records for at least five years and maintaining secure documentation for any transactions or activities suspected of being linked to money laundering or terrorist financing.
3. Monitoring and Reporting Systems
Our advanced transaction monitoring systems are designed to detect unusual activities promptly. ATS has clear internal reporting channels, allowing employees to confidentially report suspicious activities to our Compliance Department, which conducts investigations and coordinates with relevant authorities when necessary.
4. Training and Compliance Management
ATS provides continuous training to all employees on AML requirements and reporting procedures, ensuring they are well-informed and capable of identifying and addressing potential AML risks. The Compliance Department has the authority to oversee adherence to AML regulations and to update policies as needed.
5. Commitment to Transparency and Cooperation
ATS cooperates fully with law enforcement and regulatory bodies during any AML-related investigations and provides timely and accurate information when required. We are dedicated to maintaining a transparent and compliant business environment.
Our policy reflects ATS’s proactive approach to preventing financial crimes and supporting the integrity of the financial and aviation industries. We regularly review and update our procedures to address emerging risks and ensure that our operations continue to meet evolving regulatory expectations.Â
